About Jackie

(The important stuff you need to know.)

Oh hey! I’m glad you’re here. This page is a little more personal, so here are the real details of me beyond the formal bio.

I’m a rural Missouri mom, wife, counselor, educator, grant writer, project manager, trainer, speaker, author, university faculty member, child-centered advocate, leadership developer, resiliency and prevention specialist, and strategic thinker. At my core, I’m a builder of people, teams, and systems—and I care deeply about helping communities function better for the children and families they serve. And… I’m the only person who does what I do… Truly!

Most importantly, though… I’m a child of God.

I’m also an “all in” kind of girl—a developer of communities, book nerd, lifelong learner, and keeper of facts. I’m an action-oriented problem solver, hobby farmer, proud American, and a responsible freedom warrior. As an advocate for informed healthcare, I’m also a cat and chicken collector, old craftsman farmhouse decorator, food preservation guru, goal-smasher, and sourdough baker. Most importantly, I’m a believer in YOU and the official 3:30 am cheerleader for my hilarious family of three. Our family is centered on Christ Jesus our Savior, and we do all things to glorify Him. I don’t try to do just one thing well—I focus on doing the right things with excellence, intention, and a whole lot of grace

I value real conversations over surface-level exchanges. I’m drawn to stories, lived experience, and the kind of dialogue that gets to the heart of who people are and what they carry. If you’re here for small talk or surface noise, I’m probably not your person. But if you’re here for honesty, depth, and meaningful connection—you’ll feel right at home.

While I’m naturally an introvert (INTJ energy all the way), I come alive in spaces where learning and transformation happen in real time. I love keynote speaking, training rooms, classrooms, and counseling spaces—any environment where people are gathered to grow, think differently, and move forward with clarity and purpose. I’ve learned that I’m at my best when I’m helping translate complex topics into practical tools people can actually use in their lives and work.

Beyond speaking and training, I also provide counseling services, consultation, grant development, program design, and strategic support for schools, agencies, and community organizations. Much of my work now centers around behavioral health training, crisis response education, child advocacy systems, and leadership development for professionals in education, healthcare, and public safety.

So in short, what I want you to know is this: I care deeply about people, I show up fully in the work I’m called to do, and I believe in doing meaningful work that actually makes a difference. I’m willing to step into hard spaces, stand alongside others in the work, and pursue truth, healing, and practical change with courage and conviction.

We were all created with purpose, and I’m grateful our paths have crossed. May God continue to bless and protect you and your family.

Big Joy,

Jackie
